You may be eligible for the Splunk settlement if you:
- Applied for a job opening in Washington state with Splunk LLC or Cisco Systems, Inc.
- Applied between January 1, 2023, and July 26, 2025 (the Class Period).
- The job posting you applied to did not disclose the wage scale, salary range, or benefits information.

What You Need to Do to Get Paid
To get paid from the Splunk settlement:
Claim Online
- Go to the official settlement claim form.
- Log in using the Unique ID and PIN printed on the Notice mailed to you. If you can’t find them, contact the Settlement Administrator at (888) 369-3780 or by email to request your credentials.
- Complete and submit your claim form by May 25, 2026.
Claim by Mail or Email
- Complete your Claim Form.
- Mail or email it to Simpluris, the Settlement Administrator, so it is submitted or postmarked no later than May 25, 2026.
- If your address changes before payment is issued, notify the Settlement Administrator right away.
All Settlement Class Members who submit a timely, valid Claim Form are eligible to receive an equal share of the Settlement Fund. No specific proof of purchase or employment verification is stated as required.
Settlement Payout
Splunk settlement payments are estimated at $1,673.71 per person. All class members who submit a valid, timely claim form receive an equal share of the settlement fund. Payments will be mailed as checks after the Final Approval Hearing on July 17, 2026, once all appeals or reviews are complete. Checks expire 180 days after issuance.

Background of the Lawsuit
Plaintiff John Milito filed a lawsuit against Splunk LLC and Cisco Systems, Inc. in King County Superior Court in Washington state. The claim is that both companies violated Washington’s Equal Pay and Opportunities Act, RCW 49.58.110, by posting job openings in Washington without disclosing the wage scale, salary range, or benefits information.
Washington law requires employers to include that information in job postings. Milito filed on behalf of himself and others who applied to those postings between January 1, 2023, and July 26, 2025. Splunk and Cisco deny any wrongdoing.
