Eligible States
You can file a claim in two ways:

Online claims require a Claim Number and PIN provided in the notice. Paper claims require a signature declaring eligibility.
Each Eligible Subscriber is entitled to a one-time payment of $14 in restitution.
This settlement resolves an investigation by the New York State Office of the Attorney General involving The New York Times. The records indicate that eligible subscribers cancelled a subscription with a New York billing address during the relevant time periods and were directly billed by NYT. The New York Times has agreed to provide restitution to these subscribers.
