Purchasers of RevitaLash and RevitaBrow Advanced serum products sued manufacturer Athena Cosmetics, alleging that the company’s labeling and marketing failed to disclose material information about the products and potential risks and side effects associated with an ingredient. Athena denies the allegations, denies any wrongdoing, and asserts that the products are safe and conform with all state and federal regulations.
The parties agreed to settle the lawsuit to avoid the expenses and uncertainties of ongoing litigation. The settlement includes a $4.17 million settlement fund consisting of $3.036 million for cash benefits and $1.134 million for product vouchers. Athena has also agreed to implement label changes and website modifications within 120 days of settlement approval. For more information, visit the official settlement website.
