Wilshire Law Firm settlement payments are $75 per approved claim. Each class member may submit one claim per telephone number. Payments will be issued by check after the Court grants final approval and any appeals are resolved. The final approval hearing is scheduled for June 3, 2026, so payments are not expected before that date at the earliest.
Plaintiffs Paul Ryan and Darla Solomon filed a lawsuit in the Circuit Court for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit, Miami-Dade County, Florida, alleging that Wilshire Law Firm, P.L.C. violated the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). The suit claims Wilshire sent pre-recorded messages to cellular telephone numbers without the recipients’ consent. The class covers calls placed from October 10, 2020 through the date of preliminary approval, and the parties estimate roughly 51,691 phone numbers are affected.
Wilshire denies all allegations and maintains it did not violate the law. Rather than proceed to trial, both sides agreed to settle. The $5,975,000 settlement fund covers administration costs, attorneys’ fees, and payments to class members who file valid claims. For more information, visit the official settlement website. The settlement does not constitute an admission of wrongdoing by Wilshire.
