Plaintiff John Milito filed a lawsuit against Veeam Management LLC and Veeam Vaas Corporation in King County Superior Court, alleging the companies violated Washington law (RCW 49.58.110) by failing to disclose the wage scale or salary range in job postings for open positions in Washington State.
Veeam denies any wrongdoing and maintains that Plaintiff’s claims are without merit. The court has not made any determination on whether the law was violated.
Rather than continue litigating, both sides agreed to settle. The proposed settlement fund ranges from $261,184.38 to $367,500, depending on how many class members submit a valid claim. On March 2, 2026, King County Superior Court Judge Ken Schubert granted preliminary approval to the settlement.
