What You Need to Do to Get Paid
To get paid from the St. Andrew’s Resources for Seniors System settlement:
Claim Online
- Go to the online claim form on the official settlement website.
- Log in using the Unique ID and PIN from the notice mailed to you. If you can’t locate them, contact the Settlement Administrator by email to request your credentials.
- Select the benefit(s) you want to claim: two years of medical identity monitoring, reimbursement for out-of-pocket losses (up to $5,000 with documentation), compensation for lost time (up to $80), or the $50 alternative cash payment.
- Upload or attach any supporting documentation required for your chosen benefit.
- Submit your completed claim form by May 21, 2026.

- Download the printable claim form from the settlement website, or request a paper copy by calling 1-833-647-9065 or emailing the Settlement Administrator.
- Complete and sign the form, and attach any required supporting documentation.
- Mail your completed form to the St. Andrew’s Data Incident Settlement Settlement Administrator so it is postmarked no later than May 21, 2026.
Out-of-Pocket Losses ($0-$5,000) require documented proof like bank statements or receipts. Lost Time compensation ($0-$80) requires attestation. Alternative Cash Payment ($50) requires no proof.
Settlement Payout
St. Andrew’s Resources for Seniors System settlement payments vary depending on which benefit you claim. The no-proof-required option pays a flat $50.00 cash payment. Class members who spent time dealing with the incident can claim up to four hours at $20.00 per hour, for a maximum of $80.00. Those with documented out-of-pocket losses tied to the data incident may claim reimbursement of up to $5,000.00, with supporting proof required. All class members can also enroll in two years of CyEx Medical Shield Complete monitoring, which includes $1 million in medical identity theft insurance. Payments will be distributed after the court grants final approval at the June 8, 2026 hearing and any appeals are resolved. Background of the Lawsuit
In February 2024, St. Andrew’s Resources for Seniors System became aware that a criminal third party had gained unauthorized access to certain employee email accounts. Personal information potentially exposed in the incident included names, addresses, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, state identification numbers, passport numbers, military identification numbers, financial account information, payment card information, health insurance information, and medical information.
Plaintiffs Dinah Barnett, Kristen Kurtz Kohlberg, Steven Shireman, Mattie Arnold, and Ralph Williams filed suit in the Circuit Court for the City of St. Louis, Missouri, alleging the company failed to adequately protect their personal and health data. The case is captioned Barnett, et al. v. St. Andrew’s Resources for Seniors System, Case No. 2522-CC09432.
St. Andrew’s denies all wrongdoing and the court has made no finding of liability. Both sides agreed to settle to avoid the costs and uncertainty of continued litigation. The proposed settlement provides class members with credit and medical identity monitoring, cash compensation for documented losses, and an alternative flat cash payment option.
