To get paid from the Myers Auto Group settlement:
Claimants do not have to provide any proof or explanation to claim the pro rata cash payment from the $15,000 Settlement Fund.
Myers Auto Group settlement payments are pro rata cash amounts drawn from a $15,000 settlement fund. Your individual share depends on how many valid claims are submitted. The exact per-person amount will be posted on the settlement website once that number is known. You do not need to submit any proof or documentation to claim your share. If you filed online, payment can be delivered via PayPal, Venmo, or Zelle. Paper checks are mailed to claimants who submitted by mail. Payments will be distributed after the court grants final approval and any appeals are resolved.
In May 2025, Myers Auto Group, LLC was hit by a targeted cyberattack on its computer systems. Plaintiffs Jamie Castillo, Terry Freeman, and Melissa Antonio filed suit in the Circuit Court of Palm Beach County, Florida, alleging that files containing private information were accessed during the breach. That information may have included names, contact details, dates of birth, and government ID numbers such as Social Security numbers and driver’s license numbers.
Myers Auto Group denies any wrongdoing, and the court has not ruled on fault. Rather than continue litigation, both sides agreed to settle. The $15,000 settlement fund will be split among class members who submit valid claims, and all class members can also enroll in one year of CyEx Financial Shield Complete identity protection at no cost.
