Who’s Eligible
- All persons in the State of Florida whose mortgage contracts have been or are being serviced by Ocwen acting on behalf of HSBC and for other note or mortgage holders from February 15, 2014, until the present.
- Must have been charged one of the following fees by Ocwen through mortgage account statements:
- Service of Process Fees for unknown spouse(s) and/or unknown tenant(s) in possession of the subject property (e.g., “John Doe”).
- Attorneys’ Fees where legal services were not performed, or where there was no proof or measure of time for such services.
- Registration Fees for property maintenance for properties located in West Palm Beach, Florida (2014 to 2020) where the property owner never vacated or abandoned the property.

What You Need to Do to Get Paid
- No Claim Form Required: You do not need to file a claim to receive a payment.
- Automatic Payment: Payments will be automatically mailed to eligible Settlement Class Members or credited to their active accounts if the settlement is approved.
- Contact for Updates: If you believe you are a member, you may contact the Class Administrator at 888-913-6110 to ensure they have your current mailing address.
Settlement Payout
Settlement Class Members will receive payments or account credits based on the specific fees they were charged. Members may qualify for one or all of the following allocations:
- $250: West Palm Beach Property Maintenance Class (improper registration fees).
- $65: Service of Process Class (improper service fees for unknown tenants/spouses).
- $14.14: Attorneys’ Fee Class (fees for services not performed).
Class members eligible for multiple categories will receive the cumulative total.
- Class Damages Fund: $1,200,000
- Attorneys’ Fees: $1,990,000 (Paid Separately)
- Service Award: $10,000 (Paid Separately)
