Who’s Eligible

  • Nationwide Class: Individuals residing in the United States who purchased a video or videogame from DirectToU or signed up to receive notices about videos or videogames from DirectToU between August 8, 2022, and September 22, 2025.
  • California Class: Individuals residing in California who purchased a video or videogame from DirectToU or signed up to receive notices about videos or videogames from DirectToU between August 8, 2020, and September 22, 2025.
  • Eligible Brands: Includes purchases from DeepDiscount, Movies Unlimited, Critics Choice Video, CCVideo, Collectors’ Choice, PopMarket, and WowHD, as well as storefronts on Amazon, Walmart, Target, and eBay (e.g., importcds, Blowitoutahere, MovieMars).
  • Data Disclosure: The settlement covers individuals whose personally identifiable information (PII) regarding video requests or services may have been disclosed to a third party (such as Facebook) without consent.

What You Need to Do to Get Paid

To receive a payment, you must submit a Claim Form by January 20, 2026. You can file online at the settlement website using your Class Member ID (if you received a notice) or by providing your contact information and attesting to your purchase history. If you prefer, you may print a paper claim form and mail it to the Settlement Administrator.

Proof of purchase is not strictly required to submit a claim, as eligibility is primarily based on DirectToU’s internal records. However, you must certify under penalty of perjury that you purchased a video or videogame from a DirectToU brand or signed up for their notices during the class period.
