What You Need to Do to Get Paid
To get paid from the 301 Scrubs settlement:
Claim Online
- Visit the official settlement claim site and log in using the Unique ID and PIN from your notice.
- Select the benefit you want to claim: two years of credit monitoring, a $50 flat cash payment, or up to $2,500 for documented losses.
- If claiming documented losses, upload supporting proof such as receipts or financial records showing expenses tied to the data breach.
- Choose your preferred payment method: PayPal, Venmo, or Zelle (digital payment options are only available when filing online).
- Submit your claim by May 18, 2026.
Claim by Mail
- Download the claim form from the settlement website or request one from the Settlement Administrator, Simpluris.
- Complete the form, select your benefit option, and attach any required documentation for documented loss claims.
- Sign the form and mail it to the Settlement Administrator. Your form must be postmarked no later than May 18, 2026.
Cash Payment A (up to $2,500) requires documented proof of out-of-pocket losses such as receipts. Cash Payment B ($50) requires no proof. Credit monitoring available to all without proof.
Settlement Payout
301 Scrubs settlement payments are either a flat $50 with no documentation required, or up to $2,500 if you can show documented out-of-pocket losses tied to the June 2024 data breach. You can only choose one cash payment option. All class members are also eligible to enroll in two years of CyEx Identity Defense Complete credit monitoring, which includes $1 million in identity theft insurance. Online claimants can receive cash via PayPal, Venmo, or Zelle; those who mail in a claim will receive a check. Payments will be distributed after the court grants final approval and any appeals are resolved.

Background of the Lawsuit
In June 2024, a targeted cyberattack hit 301 Scrubs Investors, LLC, which does business as Scrubs & Beyond and Kindthread. The attack accessed files containing private information, potentially including names, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, and employee identification numbers.
Plaintiff Kevin Mitchael filed suit in the Judicial Circuit Court for Broward County, Florida, alleging the company failed to adequately protect that data. The case is captioned Kevin Mitchael v. 301 Scrubs Investors, LLC d/b/a Scrubs & Beyond, LLC d/b/a Kindthread, Case No. CACE-26-000716.
