Owners of Oklahoma property damaged by earthquakes between Jan 2019 and the Effective Date.
Eligible States
Submit a Claim Form online at www.oklahomaearthquakeslawsuits2024.com or by mail to the Settlement Administrator. You must include supporting documentation of your damages, such as repair estimates and bills.
Claimants must provide evidence of damages such as repair estimates and bills. The claim must be for a sum certain not to exceed the amounts of the provided documentation.
Payments are distributed on a pro rata basis from the Net Settlement Fund. Zone A claimants (properties in Lincoln, Payne, Logan, Oklahoma, Cleveland, Pottawatomie, Seminole, Okfuskee, and Creek counties) will receive 90% of the Net Settlement Fund. Zone B claimants (properties in other Oklahoma counties) will receive 10%. Claimants must submit evidence of repair estimates and bills.
Plaintiffs allege that wastewater disposal wells operated by Spess Oil Company, Circle 9 Resources, and Culbreath Oil & Gas Co., Inc. contributed to causing earthquakes in Oklahoma, including a 5.1 magnitude earthquake near Prague on February 2, 2024. The Defendants deny any liability or wrongdoing.
