What You Need to Do to Get Paid

  • Active Accounts: If you have an active account in the Plan, you do not need to do anything. You will receive your payment automatically into your Plan account.
  • Former Accounts: If you are a Former Participant without an active account, you must complete and mail the Former Participant Claim Form by February 10, 2026.

Current participants do not need to submit proof or a claim. Former participants must submit a Former Participant Claim Form to verify their eligibility and elect a payment method.

Settlement Payout

Estimated Payout Per Person

Payments will be calculated based on a Plan of Allocation. Current participants with active accounts will receive funds automatically into their 401(k) accounts. Former participants must submit a claim form to receive payment via check or tax-qualified rollover.

Background of the Lawsuit

Plaintiffs allege that Defendants violated the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA) in the administration of the Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan. Defendants deny the allegations and deny that they engaged in any improper conduct.

Who is eligible for the settlement?
You are eligible if you were a participant, beneficiary, or alternate payee in the Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan at any time between October 9, 2017, and September 11, 2025.
Only Former Participants who do not have an active account balance in the Plan need to submit a claim form. Current participants with active accounts will receive payments automatically.
If you are a Former Participant required to file a claim, your Former Participant Claim Form must be postmarked or received by February 10, 2026.
The amount depends on a Plan of Allocation that considers your account balance and time in the plan. The Net Settlement Amount will be distributed pro rata among eligible class members.
The Court will hold a Fairness Hearing on February 24, 2026, to decide whether to approve the settlement.
