Who’s Eligible
You may be eligible for the Google Play Store Subscription settlement if you:
- Are a California resident
- Paid for at least one renewal term of a Google subscription through a Google Play checkout screen
- Purchased the subscription between May 30, 2014 and October 27, 2019 (the class period)
- Purchased the subscription for personal, family, or household purposes
- Did not have a Google Drive subscription
- Did not cancel the subscription during a free trial
- Did not receive a full refund from Google

What You Need to Do to Get Paid
To get paid from the Google Play Store Subscription settlement:
You do not need to submit a claim. If you are a class member and do nothing, you will automatically receive Google Play account credit or an electronic payment via PayPal or Zelle if you do not have an active Google Play Account. Payments will be distributed after the Court grants final approval to the settlement.
If you want to exclude yourself from the settlement or object to it, visit the official settlement website by May 9, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time.
No proof of purchase required. You do not need to provide documentation to receive your settlement payment.
Settlement Payout
Google settlement payments are approximately $6 per class member on a pro rata distribution basis, distributed as Google Play account credit or electronic payment via PayPal or Zelle if no active Google Play Account exists. Payments will be made after the Court grants final approval and all appeals are resolved.

Background of the Lawsuit
The lawsuit, Uzair, et al. v.
