What You Need to Do to Get Paid
To file a claim, visit the Official Settlement Website and submit the online Claim Form using your Unique ID found on the notice. Alternatively, you may download a paper claim form or request one from the Settlement Administrator and mail it to the address provided. You must select your preferred benefit option (Cash Payment or Documented Losses) and indicate if you are claiming the additional California Statutory Payment.
A Unique ID is required for all claims. Claims for Documented Losses require supporting documentation (receipts, invoices, bank statements) and a description of the loss. Claims for lost time and California residency require a sworn attestation.
Settlement Payout
Settlement Class Members may choose between two primary benefits: (1) reimbursement for Documented Losses up to $5,000 (including up to 4 hours of lost time at $25/hour), or (2) an Alternative Cash Payment estimated at $100. Additionally, Class Members who were residents of California between September 19, 2023, and January 13, 2026, are eligible for a California Statutory Cash Payment estimated at $250, which can be combined with either of the primary benefits. All amounts may be adjusted pro rata based on the number of claims.
- Settlement Fund: $8,500,000 (Maximum Total Obligation)
- Attorneys’ Fees: Up to $2,833,333.33
- Litigation Costs: Up to $50,000
- Service Awards: Up to $4,000 per Class Representative
- Administrative Costs: Paid from the Settlement Fund
