What You Need to Do to Get Paid
To get paid from the Mejuri settlement:
This is an automatic distribution. No claim form is required. If the Court grants final approval, eligible class members who did not exclude themselves will receive a payment by mail automatically.
To make sure you receive your payment, confirm that the settlement administrator has your current mailing address before the opt-out deadline of April 22, 2026. You can update your address by completing the Address Form that came with your notice, or by contacting Simpluris directly.

Settlement Payout
Mejuri settlement payments are an equal share of the Class Fund, divided among all class members who do not exclude themselves. The total settlement amount has not been publicly disclosed, so the exact per-person payment is not yet known. Payments will be characterized as non-wage damages and reported on a 1099 form. Checks will be mailed after the Court grants final approval and any appeals are resolved. All settlement checks expire 180 days after they are issued.

Background of the Lawsuit
Plaintiff Nicole Yount filed this lawsuit in King County Superior Court in January 2025, alleging that Mejuri (US), Inc. and related entities violated Washington’s Equal Pay and Opportunities Act (RCW 49.58.110). That law requires employers with 15 or more employees to include the wage scale or salary range in every job posting for Washington positions. Yount claimed that Mejuri’s job listings omitted that information, leaving applicants unable to evaluate or negotiate pay before investing time in the application process.
The complaint alleged that Mejuri’s postings affected more than 40 class members who applied for Washington-based positions between January 1, 2023, and January 30, 2026. Plaintiff sought $5,000 in statutory damages per class member under RCW 49.58.070 and RCW 49.58.110.
Mejuri denied all wrongdoing and disputed that it violated any law. Rather than continue litigation, both sides agreed to settle. The settlement is not an admission of liability by Mejuri, and the Court has not made any finding on the merits of the claims.
