Background of the Lawsuit

This class action lawsuit alleges that Southeast Series of Lockton Companies, LLC and Lockton Companies, LLC experienced a cybersecurity data breach on or around November 20, 2024, that exposed private information including names, some Social Security numbers, dates of birth, health information, and medical information of thousands of people.

The Defendants deny all claims and maintain they did nothing wrong. Rather than proceed to trial, the parties agreed to a settlement. The settlement does not require the Defendants to admit liability but allows affected class members to receive compensation and credit monitoring services to resolve the claims without further litigation.
