FRL Automotive LLC d/b/a Toyota of North Miami is accused of sending marketing text messages to consumers after they requested the company stop sending them messages, in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and the Florida Telephone Solicitation Act (FTSA). The lawsuit alleges these violations occurred from March 2021 through September 2025.
Defendant FRL Automotive denies all allegations of wrongdoing and liability. Rather than proceed to trial, both sides have agreed to settle the case. The Court has approved the settlement as fair, reasonable, and adequate without deciding the merits of the claims.
