Estimated Payout Per Person

Claimants can receive up to $2,500 for documented out-of-pocket losses.

You can also claim up to $75 for lost time ($25 per hour for up to 3 hours).

The $15 million fund will be used to pay for:

Valid Claims: Payments to eligible users for losses and lost time.

The lawsuit alleges that Cash App and its parent company, Block Inc., were negligent in protecting user data. The plaintiffs claim this negligence led to two major data breaches in 2022 and 2023, as well as unauthorized fraudulent withdrawals. The companies deny any wrongdoing but agreed to this settlement to resolve the case.
